Jay and Nancy are New Orleans transplants via too many places to mention; including Jersey, Philly, Seattle, Vermont, and Upstate New York. They landed in NOLA in the sweltering summer, quickly embracing the myriad of happy hour options in this historic city, justifiably known for its over-indulgences. Happy hour daily 4-7! $2 off shared items (the menu is small- but everything looks amazing). So we went with the jambalaya cheese fries. Great cocktail menu- classic cocktails $7- gimlet, mule, French 75, Pimms- the list goes on… house wines $6, paradise park $5. It’s hot so we’re going $3.5 domestic beers. So refreshing!

Happy hour weekdays 8-11am and again 3-6pm. The lemon immigrant was a bit tart so I was offered strawberry infused vodka to sweeten it up a bit. Add an Envie from Parish Brewing and the ahi tuna wontons (and a second round) for a $24 bill. 1/2 off cocktails, apps, drafts and house wine. Pretty terrific. Thanks for the heads up that happy hour was ending and I should order the next round ASAP.
