New home bar (sorry, Superior Seafood…). We’ll have the cheapest beer in the place! (Unlike the previous occupant of the barstool next to us, we’ll tip). JT at the bar. Decent Philly cheesesteaks on Thursday’s. — at Carrollton Station.
Came to NOLA brewery in sheer desperation while searching for lunch on a beautiful New Orleans day where everywhere had huge lines out the door after over a year when we received horrible service by a man, whom my kid sister, so eloquently, referred to as “buffalo bill” on her yelp review. Bar service was polite and professional, McClures BBQ satisfying. Thinking of another round upstairs to watch the river flow by. I saw bags of crawfish being rolled in, so let’s see where this goes…
You all know the rule- once I hit 3, “I’m not cooking!”. $8 cheesesteaks And meatball sandwiches (very authentic, Philadelphia peeps!) $2.50 all day IPAs all day (but we hit up the Hamms and High Life’s). JT at the bar. (Hopefully they’re not noticing I wore the same thing last night…)

No happy hour- but super spicy/ super fresh crawfish. 2nd set pils and paradise park lager pairs well.

M-F 3-7 happy hour; $2 off draft beer, house wine, house cocktails and select apps. Ross behind the bar. (The veg out pizza is fantastic!) — at Mellow Mushroom.
Our bartender seemed more impressed with the $5 PBR and old grandad order than my questioning the NOLA and Dogfish Head selections…. $1 off drafts for happy hour. I fell outside coming in… — at Ale on Oak.
Yep. We’re the first ones here for happy hour… craving some snacks and beers before going home to make the lasagna… DAILY 3-6. More Dixie! Today’s meat pie is turkey club, duck fat fries are killer as always.
12-8 daily happy hour ($3 Dixie!) on the sparkly bar. Just signed up for a chance at the half time game. Apparently here, it’s the Saints vs the foreskins.
Happy hour daily 2-5, 1/2 off draft beers and wine. The bartender asked right away if we’d like our beers “to go?” With these comfy barstools- hells no. She didn’t seem pleased. I don’t think we belong… so we ordered the fries. (Go to Wayfare on Freret…) you can taste the…. never mind…
